My Project 52. Week Eleven.

week eleven.
Spring has Sprung!

Lets Rock.

Jordan had his senior cotillion dance a few weeks ago and I shot a few pics of the occasion.
He is so awesome.  How did I get such a cool kid?  I'm a lucky mom.

Life. In Pictures.

(cute pregnant Adelle)

This is my sis.
She is about to give birth to her first son.
I have a birthday coming on Friday, and I am hoping he will make his appearance into this world on my birthday!  It would sure make my getting older a little easier for me to bear.
And wouldn't that be a great birthday present?
I think so.
Me and my camera are ready and waiting.

And speaking of baby boys...
(cute, chubby Corey - pics from my blackberry)

I got to have this adorable little guy for a whole weekend!
He is my other sis Cindee's baby boy.
Oh man, did I love having a babe to carry around!
Let's just say there was a lot of kissing going on that weekend.

I am so lucky to have sisters and sisters-in-law
who will supply me with darling babies to kiss!

(my blue-eyed babe)

Especially since my baby is not so much a baby anymore...
But that doesn't stop me from giving her plenty of kisses.
How can you resist kissing those cheeks?

Now, off to make dinner and get a little work done.
PS.  I have been loving this song today.
I think Lee will win the whole thing.  Hopefully.

Spring Time - Easter Time.

Spring Break came and went.
In the blink of an eye.
And yet, it still feels like winter.
That must have something to do with the fact that when I look out my window,
I see a winter wonderland outside.
 ***
Spring time - Easter time = Fun times.
We spent it with our loved ones -
playing games, coloring eggs, feasting on food, hunting for eggs, taking naps,
kissing baby cheeks, taking photographs, laughing, loving, enjoying,
listening to prophets of God and wishing for sunshine.

Every year, Nana hides eggs all over her wonderful yard.
Its a delightful tradition.

On your mark... Get set... GO!
Find your treasures.  Get as many as you can!

Some have treats inside.  Some have money in them.
The coveted GOLDEN EGG has 10 bucks inside.

Jordan didn't waste much time looking for the regular eggs.
He had his mind on the GOLDEN EGG and the cashola it held.

He didn't find it.  Oh well.  Maybe next year.

18 years ago, I found an egg with an engagement ring in it.
I SAID YES.

Now look at the treasures I have...

And it just wouldn't be right if we didn't have this kid playing his music in the backgroud.

Hunting makes you hungry.
Nana made home-made pizzas for everyone.
(Have I mentioned how AMAZING Nana is?)

And my little Shaye makes her pizza the same way as me.
All veggies.
That makes me smile.

And for dessert I made these delicious little lovelies.

Happy Happy Spring!

The Winds of Change.

The winds of change are blowing in...
Can you feel them?
Bringing with them Springtime and
new beginnings and new adventures.

What will spring bring to me?
Many of my favorite things...
Blooming Tulips.  Good Books.  Birthday Cake.
Laughter.  Sunsets.  Family.  Friends.
Blue Skies.  Sunshine.  Cardigans.  Flip-Flops.
Sister Talks.  Lovely Movies.  Goals Accomplished.
Photographs of Beautiful Places.
Evening Walks.  Romance.  Painting my Toenails.
Good News.  Surprises.  A Southern Get-Away.

I'm getting excited for Spring... How about you?

More Easter Fun.

I have been so busy with my "mom" duties, the new website,
traveling, and photo shoots/editing that i have neglected my blog!
I am so behind, but here are some more photos from Easter at Nana's house.
It was a fun day!  And don't these photos scream "IT'S SPRINGTIME!"?

Stayed tuned for some very fun spring shoots,
as well as some pics from my trip to Sedona!
