Motherhood.

I LOVE BEING A MOM.
I love babies.  I always have.  Especially my babies!
I am so glad I chose motherhood.
I still choose it.  Everyday.  And I love it.
And everyday time ticks.  And I watch them grow.
And my heart is full.
I feel so thankful, so grateful that I have been there.
To see it all.
I know there is still so much more to see - and I feel excited about that.
I watch them sometimes - when they don't know I am - and my mind thinks -
"Where has the time gone?"  And then my heart aches that time passes so quickly.
My oldest went to his Jr. Prom last Saturday.
Let's just say - there were a few tears shed that night - and I couldn't be more proud of him.
So many milestones.  So many more to come.

I love my role as a wife - mom - home-maker.
I love making my home a clean, lovely, healthy place.
I gave up a lot to be home.
But it's nothing compared with what I have gained.
 And, I know I am blessed for it.
My little soul mates.  My little friends.  My little treasures.

You are the trip I did not take;
You are the pearls I cannot buy;
You are my blue Italian lake;
You are my piece of foreign sky.

Yup. There are so many levels of caring for your children. I can't believe how fast they grow. I have to remind myself to soak up every day with them. Pretty soon Lib will be getting asked to Prom! Yikes. That will be a dream for my little dress up girl. :) Jordan's pic on facebook is cute. Can't wait to see the rest of the Prom photos.
