My Project 52. Week Seven.

week seven
Sharing a shake!  YUM.

Hairnets.

Yesterday, I headed down to the cannery with 2 of my favorite girls, donned a sexy hairnet and packaged up some frozen strawberries.  Aren't we cute?  I love spending time with these two souls.  They never cease to influence me and inspire me to be a better person.  And, my freezer is FULL of frozen berries.  My morning smoothies and my tummy are so very happy.

Spring Time - Easter Time.

Spring Break came and went.
In the blink of an eye.
And yet, it still feels like winter.
That must have something to do with the fact that when I look out my window,
I see a winter wonderland outside.
 ***
Spring time - Easter time = Fun times.
We spent it with our loved ones -
playing games, coloring eggs, feasting on food, hunting for eggs, taking naps,
kissing baby cheeks, taking photographs, laughing, loving, enjoying,
listening to prophets of God and wishing for sunshine.

Every year, Nana hides eggs all over her wonderful yard.
Its a delightful tradition.

On your mark... Get set... GO!
Find your treasures.  Get as many as you can!

Some have treats inside.  Some have money in them.
The coveted GOLDEN EGG has 10 bucks inside.

Jordan didn't waste much time looking for the regular eggs.
He had his mind on the GOLDEN EGG and the cashola it held.

He didn't find it.  Oh well.  Maybe next year.

18 years ago, I found an egg with an engagement ring in it.
I SAID YES.

Now look at the treasures I have...

And it just wouldn't be right if we didn't have this kid playing his music in the backgroud.

Hunting makes you hungry.
Nana made home-made pizzas for everyone.
(Have I mentioned how AMAZING Nana is?)

And my little Shaye makes her pizza the same way as me.
All veggies.
That makes me smile.

And for dessert I made these delicious little lovelies.

Happy Happy Spring!

Mountain Man.

What do you get when you combine:
20 pounds of home-made hash-brown potatoes
54 scrambled eggs
4 pounds of bacon
4 pounds of sausage
2 onions
and 2 pounds of cheese?
A MOUNTAIN MAN BREAKFAST
that will feed 40+ employees!
and a HUGE dutch oven of food that weighs A LOT!
Good thing for Superman strength!
Chad likes to keep his employees as happy and productive
as can be during this merger at work!
What lucky co-workers!
And yes, me and the kids had some too, YUM!

Super Bowl - Super Delicious.

The Superbowl just wouldn't be the Superbowl without the FOOD!
This year we decided to stay home and watch the big game - just us and our kids!
Everyone picked their favorite junk food and then the feasting began...

YUM.  YUM.  YUM.
I chose guacamole and Chad wanted queso dip and little smokies.
We also had popcorn chicken, popcorn shrimp and boneless wings.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go run 300 miles to burn off the calories.
