Darling Miss "K" *Utah Children Photographer*
I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful girl for her birthday, a few weeks back. Isn't she beautiful? See more RIGHT HERE!
Good Times, Bad Times.
Its that time again. The summer is drawing to an end.
My kids all celebrated birthdays this spring and summer.
Each one is a year older.
Time is ticking on, and some days it doesn't just tick...
it whizzes by as fast as a roller coaster, and your standing there thinking,
"what just happened"?
Good times - Bad times.
School starts in a few days, and so starts a new routine.
No more late nights and lazy mornings.
Up at 6:30 to work-out, make breakfast and lunches, and have family prayer.
Then off my children go, into the world.
Good times - Bad times.
I finally made some time to get some new photos of them.
My kids hear the words "photo shoot" and turn into difficult little subjects!
You would think I am putting them in a torture chamber,
instead of pointing a camera at them.
Good times - Bad times.
Good thing they are so dang cute, and that I am good at my job...
Good times - Bad times -
I will take it all because that's just life
and I love mine!
Closed for Business?
Closed?
Ran Away?
Fallen off the face of the Earth?
NONE OF THE ABOVE!
I know I have neglected my BLOG lately...
and it may seem like I have closed up shop,
but that's not the case!
I have been shooting (and editing) a lot,
but most importantly I have been soaking up every minute
that I get to spend with my DARLING family.
I will always be a mom first - photographer second.
Speaking of my darling family...
These little people are the joy of my life!
Events that happened in my family this past summer, (I almost lost my Dad)
have reminded me just how fragile and precious life really is.
We never know how much time we have with each other.
Cherish every moment.
I hope you all had an amazing summer!
XOXO
Some exciting news: I am hoping to launch the new website/blog very soon!!
Stay tuned!!
Mr. Shy | Children's Portraits
This little guy is DARLING and SUPER SHY.
Every time I called his name or put up my camera,
he would duck his head down away from me and smile.
In spite of that, we got some really cute shots.
Here are a few...

More Allison. | Children's Portraits
More Allison! More Allison!
So here you go... More from my session with Allison.
I seriously can't get enough of this cute face.
Aren't her eyes and eyelashes to die for?
She is amazing!

And who knew that pineapple could grow in Utah?
The temple gardens and the people who care for them are A-Mazing.
B. Family Grandkids.

Have you ever tried to shoot 8 little kids for a photograph?
Ha Ha. Not the easiest thing in the world!
But we got some good ones, and the little cuties hung in there
Remember these cuties?
I needed some winter shots of my kiddos, so out we went the other day, into the snow. It was really fun, except for the fact that they kept running around having snow ball fights before I was done shooting! But I didn't mind (don't tell them) cuz the candid shots I got of them playing together are absolutely darling and a treasure to me. Thought I would share a few with you. Hope your January is going great and hope you are staying warm!

Sneek Peek - family pics...
I was uploading some family pictures from a session a few weeks ago, and totally fell in love with this shot!! More to come soon, from the Storey family shoot... (Megan - they are darling!)
Just for fun.
A few weeks ago, we got together with Chad's family for some extended family pictures. When we were finished, I pulled out my camera and shot a few pics of my little cuties. They turned out better than I thought they would, considering the kids were freezing and pretty muddy by this point... Here are a few...

I love this little toothless grin.
This winter, she will definitely be singing
"all i want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth"

and his six-pack abs.
He got pretty ripped playing football.
I want six-pack abs.
Maybe I should look into signing up...
think there are any women football leagues out there?

and look, here is my cutie teenager,
who gets taller by the day...
Seems like every time I blink,
they get bigger.
Got kids? Don't Blink.
